I would add, in the FBI statistics, all Hispanic offenders are classified as "white", so the white-on-black homicide count includes all Hispanic-on-black homicides as well.

So far, all the authorities know is that a white perpetrator killed blacks, and they’ve already declared it a “hate crime.” Was there any evidence that the attack was racially motivated, or is it automatically assumed that any instance of white on black crime is racial?

My take is that the authorities have attached “hate crime” based on the report given by the survivor, that the killer had a message “you rape our women and you have to go.”

Blacks in general are much less likely to support gay “marriage,” abortion or aggressive secularization, and the AME church - while it can be very politically involved - is usually involved in local issues and is generally not out there advocating for anti-Christian causes.
But regardless of how leftist a group or individual may be, nothing justifies killing them. These victims in particular seem to have been very nice, earnest Christians and it’s simply disgusting that he would pick them. I think he’s probably crazy, some loser from mom’s basement who has been stewing around looking for somebody to blame for his messed up mind. And like Adama Lanza, who killed small children and female teachers, he’s a coward and picked a place where he knew there would be people who couldn’t fight back and would be easy targets.

As to the NCVS data, sounds like credible evidence, thanks, though it is based on surveys by the US Census bureau, using a similar methodology that they use to produce the monthly unemployment rates, so I can’t say that NCVS is an unimpeachable source.
I still don’t understand why you say that it is very rare for blacks to be victims of white violence when your own statistics say that it happens more than 60,000 times a year.
They've already declared this a "hate crime." Did they do that for Ferguson? Probably not.
