Golfers robbed on course in Pebble Beach

Pebble Beach >> Four men golfing at The Links at Spanish Bay were robbed Saturday afternoon, and authorities said one of the victims received a minor cut to his ear.

About 5:30 p.m., 18-year-old Aurelio Bautista of Greenfield and a 15-year-old juvenile male allegedly accosted the golfers and demanded money from them. The golfers were playing on the 17th hole that runs next to the beach.

You're an honest golfer who reveals his weaknesses.

But if that slice went out of bounds, or if your divot was extraordinarily deep, you'd get an automatic mulligan, because PGA Rule 108*97!2 states: When playing on Spanish Moss, or Spanish/Mexican turf of any variety, one gets an automatic mulligan if the first shot proves unfavorable in any manner.

What I don't understand is, four guys carrying golf clubs were held up by two guys with a knife, and it's unclear that the knife was ever used.
