The state Senate on Wednesday approved a far-reaching array of bills designed to cement the Golden States reputation as an international leader in the fight against climate change.
If enacted, the legislation will trigger a fundamental shift in the kinds of cars and trucks Californians drive and the way they power their homes. New targets would force industries to create more renewable energy, make more vehicles that dont burn gasoline and further slash greenhouse gas emissions.

No it's goodbye sweet America. Hello Communism.
You better come visit California now before all of our magnicent vistas are covered with windmills and giant piles of dead birds lie below them. Visit now while you can still rent a real automobile, not a tiny clown car.
Crap!
With California combating global warming, global warming could become a serious problem.
Such arrogance.
Who in their right mind would try opening a business here now?
If you followed the money on global warming who would be behind it?

California seems to be the testing ground for most experimental socialist programs these days. They don’t seem to get much pushback there especially in the Southen half and San Francisco from what I’ve noticed.

If California goes into an economic death spiral, the predominant analysis won’t be because the policies were insane, but rather that the wrong people had botched the implementation of them.
anyone give a damn if california goes down the tubes?
I don’t have much of a problem with a state going down that road either. The states are supposed to be incubators of new ideas and policies.
I’d just rather it be a Progressive paradise like California going down this particular road, and not the state I live in.

A good news article on that very issue:
Actually I do care. Under the principle that sometimes your purpose in life is to act as a warning to others.
but rather that the wrong people had botched the implementation of them.
Well, you forgot George Bush too, of course.
> anyone give a damn if california goes down the tubes?
Maybe the San Andreas fault was put there for a reason...: )
So California thinks it is more powerful than nature?
How come EVERY solution to this hoax involves tax payer money and more government control? (yes, this is a rhetorical question)
The Golden State is now The Moonbat state. Sad.
