I write this as a Cruz supporter. You need to diminish the emotion and acrimony, because you are doing more harm than good. Getting people to support Cruz isn’t about attacking all his enemies, especially on a Conservative forum.
Conservatives hate when someone makes a mistake, and his opponent immediately calls it a “lie” to try and push emotional buttons. Leftists do this to us all the time (Bush lied about chemical weapons). Adding exclamation points makes it worse, somehow (Bush lied about chemical weapons!) A lie is a known untruth, spouted to deceive. You have no evidence he wasn’t just honestly confusing TPA with TPP ( I just assumed he was). Now I could say you are “lying” about him lying, but you see how stupid that looks. He was incorrect, that is all.
Making it worse, he is philosophically correct, if not technically correct. Cruz does support TPP, has written to support it, and will vote for it. We all know that.
Every time you post, you call attention to that, and I find myself more irritated with Cruz for his support of it, more worried he is just an establishment hack, and moreover I find the acrimony from a Cruz supporter irritating. If I wasn’t committed to Cruz, it would drive me away, as I am sure it has cemented this guy’s opposition to Cruz, just to spite you.
Every election good candidates end up with sworn enemies on FR because their supporters here go around attacking everyone, and the attacked take it out on the candidate by strategically allying along the way to take down their enemy’s candidate. In the end we end up with the one candidate who had no supporters to offend everyone, be it McCain or Romney, and many, if not a majority here say, “well, at least it wasn’t Huckabee/Thompson/Santorum/etc.” I could see Jeb the nominee, and people saying, “Well at least it wasn’t Paul (or Cruz or Walker), I hate those Paul/Cruz/walker supporters.”
I appreciate and respect that you want to knock heads for Cruz. But please, pull them in gently, don’t crack their heads open if they won’t come of their own.

I do not believe I called “odawg” a liar, but that he was spreading lies. He has still not acknowledged his words as wrong, nor apologized. This act of his pride is more of the issue, at this time.
My words have not had misrepresentations, and, if they had, I would apologize for them.
I do not believe God justifies allowing wrong to thrive when one simply needs to stand against it with a handful of words.
No need for apology, you aren’t malicious, just pissed off. I am too - everything is going down the drain, and we all want to fight against something to stop it.
I just see the beginnings of us all turning against each other and trying to destroy each others candidates, and the mess that arises every time which gives us a Rino candidate and a lefty president. That is what is drawing my attention, and making me angry right now, but lets face it, that isn’t where the irritation is coming from.
We all are on hair triggers for the same reason. Apocalypse cometh. We just can’t do right now what we really know needs to happen, so we are all frustrated.

No. If you noticed what I posted, you will see that I said, along with the headlines and articles, that the SENATE passed TPP. The SENATE. Now, it has to go to the House. If the House passes it, etc., it will become law. A treaty can be passed only by the Senate with a two-thirds vote, which is a higher hurdle and Obama could not muster a two-thirds vote. The senator’s aide referred to it as a treaty. Most people are frosted over the senate vote because the damn bill was SECRET!!!!. I have no idea if the secrecy will be maintained in the House.

Why are our own guys pushing for this TPP to go thru? The Kenyan born Marxist muslim boy Barry is pushing HARD for this nightmare for America TPP ‘trade’, (but FAR more than just ‘trade’ involved), thing. Why would any American citizen who calls himself a Conservative be siding with, or supporting, Barry on ANYTHING he is for? Barry and his globalist pals largest agenda item is the destruction of our Country. Our side should not be helping them in making that happen.

Well, the Senate voted to pass the TPP bill. Sent it to the House. Conservative Mind says they didn’t. I give up.

Johnny Isakson is a POS RINO of the highest order. He managed to beat Herman Cain (who I voted for) in a primary and then naturally we all had to vote for him in the general election to keep the Dem out. Isakson is no different from any moderate Democrat. I have not voted for him in two election cycles but the Dunwoody business crowd keeps him in office into perpetuity. Hopefully he will die young.

You were right. It doesn’t hurt me to admit when I am wrong. But I compare TPA to throwing a python into a pig pen. It is only a matter of time... TPP is treasonous, and TPA makes it possible.
