The Dubai Ports World controversy of 2006 is making a comeback, only this time the Arab principal has actually gained control of the container contract for a major U.S. port.
The site is Port Canaveral, near the Kennedy Space Center on Florida’s east coast, which is frequented by U.S. and NATO-ally nuclear submarines.
A 35-year contract signed last year and set to go operational next month allows a United Arab Emirates-based company managed by Badr Jafar to operate a cargo terminal managing containers.
The UAE has been a major donor to the troubled Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation. And Jafar has ties to supermodels linked with President Bill Clinton and disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein’s famed Lolita Island.

I thought there were laws about control of US ports. How does the "Patriot Act" allow it?
Unbelievable, especially in an era when the feds are saving all US citizens phone records.
Way beyond disgusted.
The question we should be asking is;
either;
How long, O Lord
or
the flood victim that refused the assist, the boat, the helicopter because he had prayed to God and, when overcome and dead, asked God why He didn't save him was told ... "I sent assist, a boat and a helicopter and you refused Me"
We have tools available to us

Notice, “35 year contract”. Port Canaveral is the water access to Kennedy Space Center and all the launch pads on the eastern range at Cape Canaveral.
My parents lived in the small neighborhood next to the Port in the '80s and early '90s. It used to be a beautiful place. Then the port expanded, got polluted, even with nuclear subs dumping waste in the water.
It's a demented combination....access to Kennedy Space Center, all kinds of Navy ships in there, not that far from Patrick AFB, now open access for an Arab entity.
What could go wrong? Just about everything.

The primary point is that the company is one of the best port managers in the world.
As a center for companies involved in global trade, Dubai is growing. This Dubai company is merely doing what great companies do....... expanding their reach abroad

The port is presently expanding to handle larger, more impressive cruise ships....some real competition here.

There are so many foreign ownership businesses taking over in the area it makes me wonder.
South(Port of Miami) to North(Orlando airport)High speed train travel coming to the area...making a turn at the area where a terminal would serve the port and the developers saying no plan for a terminal? I bet that is another step to come.
There is a great deal hidden in the rail plan! Huge Federal incentives for passenger travel. This always fails to be cost-effective and then can become heavy freight lines for these giant Chinese Ships that will pass through the enlarged Panama Canal and enlarged Port of Miami.
It all fits into some overall plan!
