Wednesday on CSPAN’s “Washington Journal,” Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) discussed the Trade Promotion Authority legislation, but also took a shot at the field of Republicans 2016 presidential candidates by saying they “look like a "Saturday Night Live review.”

It is getting a bit silly, outside of Cruz and Walker.
Democrat donors list looks like Saturday Night Live.
I guess he doesn’t realize Republicans have a wider choice to choose from. They aren’t looking for Royalty, just real Leadership.

Now Charlie Rangel is just being disrespectful.
Certainly, a majority of the persons who have ever offered their services as President of the United States are probably less than able to effectively carry out the duties of the office, and Lord knows, some few of them have have actually made it to through the door.
But this crop of Republican hopefuls all have at least some modicum of aptitude to serve, some more than others, of course.
We do have the standing example, right now, of a person who is serving in a position that amply proves the Peter Principle, based on the notion that employees will get promoted as long as they are competent, but at some point will fail to get promoted beyond a certain job because it has become too challenging for them. Employees rise to their level of incompetence and stay there. Over time, every position in the hierarchy will be filled by someone who is not competent enough to carry out his or her new duties.
Actually the Current Occupant exceeded his level of competence when he was still a “community organizer”. Every step since then he has been essentially a “post turtle”.
You know he didn’t get up there by himself, he doesn’t belong up there, he doesn’t know what to do while he’s up there, he’s elevated beyond his ability to function, and you just wonder what kind of dumb ass put him up there to begin with.
Maybe Charlie Rangel isn’t the only one being disrespectful. But the Current Occupant has EARNED my disrespect.
