I was going to say the exact same thing, but you already said it, so all I can say is MEGA DITTOS!

The #1 first thing they need to do is bring back catastrophic coverage, remove the mandate and make it possible to buy insurance across state lines, at that point if they want to reintroduce some kind of subsidy or tax credit I’d be ok with that.

I wouldn’t mind subsidizing people to have catastrophic coverage, if they got cancer or hit by a bus, but as for this “comprehensive” nonsense, that’s ridiculous.

Get rid of all this socialist malarkey including mandates, regulations, subsidies, government payments, tax credits, price fixing, etc, allow freedom and free markets to flourish and watch healthcare costs plummet.

And you are free to do via your church or private charities. But not one cent from taxes for any form of coverage, catastrophic or otherwise. America was built on choice and individual initiative not socialism in whatever manner it may appear. Let freedom ring as it did under President Reagan!
