You forgot to include the bit about “she led police on an erratic & inexplicable high-speed chase thru DC, ending when she crashed her car into the WH fence.” The situation was more than just “an apparent wrong turn”.

So federalize the police! insofar as police brutality, well, you ain't seen nothin yet. It will become apparent that in the beginning the police will degrade into bumblers and no shows but that will change. We will really see what an occupying army looks like. There will be no accountability and the arbitrariness will become organized arbitrariness.
At first rioters will be allowed free rein. Later they will be shot when they do not immediately comply with police orders. Arbitrary arrest of "anti-state" elements will become normal- see the IRS precedent.
