....the first time the Conservatives had won a parliamentary majority since 1992. Cameron is the first Conservative Prime Minister to win re-election since Margaret Thatcher.
WHAT? No way. You can't win an election with a Conservative message; especially a "majority".

It is not a landslide at all. Most of the country voted against him and his majority will be wafer thin.

Labour was undercut by the Scottish National Party.

And please for gods sake don’t call it a conservative message, that is an insult to real conservatives.
He is a damn lefty, always has been always will be. A party of the EU, Climate change morons and gay marriage advocates is not conservative.

Not exactly a landslide, but better than expected.

Cameron is essentially the equivalent of a Democrat in most policy areas. There might be room for some immigration reform but the long slide to oblivion continues.

Hunh. EVERY headline I saw (and I think the free news aggregator app relies heavily on cnn) said it was TOO CLOSE TO CALL; once it was obvious that Cameron had won the headlines said CAMERON WINS BUT NO MAJORITY.
All my life I've detested liars. Now I live in a world owned by them.

His message was: I cut spending, I cut welfare and I’ll do Nigel Farage better because I’ll hold that referendum to take the UK out of the EU.
I don’t care for the man’s social policies but his fiscal record and euroskepticism won over English voters.
No wonder the Tories had a fantastic night.
