Former US President William J. (Bill) Clinton stepped down from his position at Laureate International Universities, part of Laureate Education Inc., Friday.
His 5-yr term as “Honorary Chancellor,” the company and Mr. Clinton’s staff said expired. But Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer suggests a different explanation: Mr. Clinton actually resigned in order to avoid more negative publicity.
The book describes what Mr. Schweizer presents as a “troubling” co-mingling of official State Department business with the private financial affairs of Bill Clinton and a nonprofit run by Laureate’s Chairman, Douglas Becker.
Laureate, which runs for-profit colleges, hired Mr. Clinton just as the Obama administration began drafting tougher regulations for federal financial aid that goes to students who attend for-profit colleges.
Around the same time, the Senate committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions launched an investigation into the industry.

I know we don’t want to get ahead of ourselves here. We’ve seen the Clintons get trapped in one scandal after another for the past twenty plus years only to escape justice and go on with their bad deeds. That said, I just get the feeling Bill and Hillary are more nervous about this scandal than all the rest. We shall see.

It is hard if not impossible to disbelieve anything that surrounds the Clintons. Grifters they were. And grifters they are. And that IS the meaning of IS!

I recall many years ago Rush saying that conservatives are crazy to believe that the Clintons will ever be sunk by the numerous scandals, corruption, and outright lies they are involved in...the press will always protect them and most people are just too stupid to really care.
So far, Rush has been correct.

You are correct about them seeming to continue escaping justice, but if we look at who they are now associating with its easy to like the Who’s Who of corruption around the world.
The dems threw hitlery overboard in 2008, because corrupt Soros figured he and they could do better with nobama blocking the way fro both grafter camps.
Now nobama’s team is and maybe Soros, see klintoons as too openly corrupt or the klintoons are so untrustworthy that they might spill the beans to cover their own butts or act like the mafia wars and decide they will be the global grift-kings.
Poor ol Lanny is having a harder and harder time pretending its all just a conspiracy against the grifters. It shows in his decreasing enthusiasm for the endless chore. One can only defend the undefendable so long. I suspect that it won’t be long and he’ll hit the road.

Barack Obama, largely responsible for putting the Democratic Party in the worst situation it’s been in for the last 70 years, will be asked to deal the death blow to Hillary Clinton, up until recently the last hope to save the party.
