I am thinking the same thing. The low information voters are growing in numbers.

Thank you for referencing that article Olog-hai. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

Misguided, low-information citizens demanded the ill-conceived 17th Amendment, and the state legislatures foolishly gave it to them. So citizens can pat themselves on the back with respect to the unconstitutional federal taxes that the corrupt senators that they have been sending to DC for the last 60+ years have burdened them with.

The 17th Amendment needs to disappear.

Your post reminds me of a VERY funny scene from “Used Cars” - one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen.

A used car dealer cuts into a Carter TV speech to expose his competitor’s prices as “too F’n high”. Absolutely hilarious scene in a waaaay underrated comedy!!!

Actually it is not government that is the problem. It is Democrats, liberals and country club c of c “conservatives”.

“And in the ONLY polls that matter (election day) voters will vote for more of the same.”

That so-called vote is a product of massive, criminal voter fraud.

Do you have a clue what gratuitous means, and then try to assign that meaning to me, jackass.

You’re skating on thin ice, newbee.

Jackass, a gratuitous assumption is a term in logic meaning a thing that is asserted without support.

Why didn’t who get up and vote? There were conservative candidates outside the Uniparty to vote for?

Good for you. You can read a dictionary. Let’s next see if you can apply logic to real-life situations.

Olag-hai, do you feel that there shouldn’t be any corporations?

I didn’t mention corporations, but since you did, is every corporation a crony corporation to you?

I seen no mention of “some” corporations or anything like that in your post.

Is it your take every corporation that outsources or hires in H1-B workers is a crony corporation?

What exactly qualifies a corporation to be a crony corporation in your estimation?

I’m a bit skeptical about tossing out the term crony corporations. The way it is used around here, every corporation seems to be a vile entity to some people.

I disagree with outsourcing and bringing in foreign workers, but I don’t necessarily see the corporations that take part in these things to necessarily be crony corporations.

The problem for me is that the Left was the traditional trasher of big business and corporations. Now our side does it with glee.

Are we a capitalist nation or not. If not, I must have taken a wrong turn somewhere along the line.

" Let me explain to you how this works: you see, the corporations finance Team America, and then Team America goes out... and the corporations sit there in their... in their corporation buildings, and... and, and see, they're all corporation-y... and they make money."
