Wasn’t Harry also the basis for the corrupt Nevada Gaming Commissioner character in both the Godfather and Casino movies...? Not the Godfather movie..Mo Greene I believed was slightly based on Ben "Bugsy" Segal and the corrupt Senator in Godfather II was well before dingy harry showed up in the Senate in the mid 80's..however, I believe the Dick Smothers character in Casino was harry..sure did act like the weasel that reid is..
