Only to ask this stupid question...but couldn’t some idiot just call and ask for forty pizzas and just NOT say what the occasion was for the forty pizzas? Maybe it’s for some gay wedding....maybe for a kid’s birthday party...maybe for a family reunion...maybe for Tea Party meeting.
And who makes some kinda of special pizza for weddings? Or am I just showing my age and not in tune with these modern times?
I went to a wedding one time that featured a taco bar, and that was it. Cheapest wedding reception I have ever been to. And the tacos were awful.
Yeah, who serves pizza at weddings, er uh, maybe that is what they DO serve at gay weddings and we are just figuring it out.
The reporter, unable to get a usable sound bite, asked a hypothetical question if they’d cater a gay wedding, they said no.
Ask the reporter where she came up with that question. Still not sure if the pizza would act as the cake or the meal...
Being gay is what they do, not who they are.
Ill give you that. If a gay person just said he wanted mass pizzas there would be no objections.
Its when the business owner hears the customer go a step further and say its for a gay wedding then the owner should be free to demur.
However, making pizzas is not the personal and artistic expression that cake decoration and photography.
