Obama-Backed Muslim Ex-Dictator “Wins” Nigerian Election (Boko Haram jazzed)
Frontpage Mag ^ | 3/31/15 | Daniel Greenfield

Boko Haram was a vehicle for Muslim political interests inside and outside Nigeria to destabilize the oil-rich country. By the end, even the Obama administration made it clear that Muhammadu Buhari, the Muslim ex-dictator who had seized power in a coup before being overthrown, was their choice.

Simpson reports that Secretary of State John Kerry “made a mockery of the administration’s pretext by hinting in January meetings with both Jonathan and Buhari that the Obama administration might allow weapon sales after the election.”

Now the election came out their way, but the weapons sales may be surplus to requirements. Boko Haram got its weapons, money and training partly from Muslim interests in Nigeria which had taken over the country before.

To be fair, Goodluck Johnathan made Obama look like an effective leader.

A former dictator and proponent of Sharia law takes over the oil and mineral wealth of the populous nation of Nigeria.

Disastrous.

EVERYTHING obama does either:
a) Weakens America/Americans
b) Distances America's allies
c) Strengthens America's enemies
d) Serves Islam
e) Harms Israel
Or some combination of the above.
There are NO counter examples.

There was an assassination attempt on Buhari last summer. Some said it was Boko Haram.

We will see, Boko Haram was successful under President Goodluck Johnathan. They’ve got a problem.

I’d question anyone’s rationale that thinks this will be a boost to Boko Haram.

Look, Sisi is a Muslim in Egypt but he’s not helping out the Muslim Brotherhood or ISIS.

Here are some links to ponder as we consider to what degree the election of this 72 year old Muslim will be a problem. At least he won’t be around as long as a 50 year old.

For some reason my computer delivered the wrong link above. I did not mean to send the link on Tikrit, but rather the one below which was my first choice as most important.

Our media was certainly trying to portray him as such. Failing to get any support from the Obama admin [just as Yemen received no help with the Houthis once Iran dove in, and Egypt was fed to the dogs of the Muslim Brotherhood] , Goodluck turned to Chad for help. The media will do the same to Cruz, while portraying O’Malley or whomever the Dems put up as a reformer. Soros after all, is
a “philanthropist,” according to our media, so why not?

The last time this guy ran, when he lost, his muslim supporters claimed the vote fraud and went on a rampage that killed more than 800 people, but you have to dig past all the fluffy articles on Bing to get to that one.

He did conduct a coup previously, like another great “reformer” the media and the democrats praised: Hugo Chavez. In spite of the coup effort the government Chavez tried to overthrow took mercy on him and he wasn’t executed for the crime. They’d some to regret it later when he got elected.

While I believe it’s possible for a muslim to be a good leader, I have my doubts about a guy who leads a party with “Progressive:” in its name that promotes shariah, a guy who has past experience in conducting a coup, whose election was helped along by Boko Haram attacks on polling places that effectively shut them down.
