Tim Cook: Apple Will Oppose Bills Like Indiana's 'Religious Freedom' Law

Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook on Sunday broadened his criticism of a new law in Indiana, which opponents say could be used to discriminate against gay people, to other states that he says have similar laws.

Indiana Gov. Mike Pence signed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act into law Thursday, sparking an outcry from those, including Cook, who say it could be used to protect businesses that refuse to serve gay people. The law's supporters say it will prevent the government from forcing business owners from providing services that go against their religious beliefs.

"These bills rationalize injustice by pretending to defend something many of us hold dear," Cook wrote in a Washington Post op-ed, referring not only to Indiana's law, which goes into effect in July, but also to those of "more than two dozen states."

It is not a mistake in a business sense, because there will be no backlash. It pains me to say it, but the great majority of Americans are debased and have been transformed into gutless, dependent, entertainment consumers who are very good at rationalization.

American popular society is politically corrected, anti Christian, and self centered.

These things will continue unabated until the people humble themselves.

That’s not all. Gates also supports globul warming lies and mass sterilization:

So Indiana and other RFRA states should stop using Apple products.

They should really do this.

Nothing new here. All the big corporations in Germany in 1933 signed on to Hitler’s totalitarian programs.

And this is what i'm thinking. The Nazis had this term called "Gleichschaltung" which "Among the goals of this policy were to bring about adherence to a specific doctrine and way of thinking and to control as many aspects of life as possible."

The left comes more and more to resemble the Nazis, and they are slowly following in their footsteps. The Nazis were also full of Homosexuals.

Let us hope so.

I hate Microsoft too. Seriously looking at Linux, but the question for most people will be "which does the most damage to my cause? Using a Microsoft product, or not using a computer at all?"

I think the benefits we gain from using a computer, offsets the damage we do by using a Microsoft product. It would be desirable to get the computing benefits without supporting Microsoft, but that is an unrealistic approach for most people.

Hey, whatever you need to say in order to deflect from some tough reality.

FR doesn’t have a Microsoft amen choirs, nor do its users here openly gush about their love for them with a continuous train of fawning articles and posts, unlike Apple has. And Bill Gates isn’t the CEO of Microsoft screaming that he will use his position and resources to force a state to surrender to homosexuals demands.

I wish I could boycott them, but I wasn’t planning on buying any Apple products.

But I will spread the word.

Good time to start boycotting Apple. The Tim Cook era will be disastrous for them, as the Apple Watch and new, horrid Mac Book already demonstrate. First bad reviews I have ever seen. And his ink Mafia activism won’t help them either.

What?! You think I’m waiting on your every ping? ... LOL ...

But, you already heard what I said before, so I’ll say it again. I like Apple products because they’re the best. When ANY COMPANY makes it better than Apple, then you’ll see me getting the “better product”. And isn’t FREE ENTERPRISE GREAT?! ... :-) ...

— — —

AND ... to go into it further, like I did on the other thread and fine tune it for you, since you don’t seem to remember it, I’ll go over it again, and put more detail in there for you ... :-) ...

As I said before, I’m not quitting Apple products, because they’re too good. I buy my products for how good of a job they do for me, not because of the company politics, or who they donate to, or employees at the company, no matter what level they’re at.

In fact most of the time I have no idea what their political persuasions are ... when I buy gas, if I get a coffeemaker from a manufacturer, or the pharmacy I go to, the bakery, grocery store, the shopping mall ... and you name it ... I don’t know and I don’t care ... because I’m buying a product for myself, in order to meet my requirements, and no one else’s requirements!

I’m not going to get all twisted up with the products and services I buy, with politics. You can but I’m not doing it!

And when I work at a company, I don’t expect to have an entire subgroup of the population complaining against me “in that job” because of my political and religious and sexual persuasions, and I don’t expect them to gripe at me for whatever the company says. I expect to be judged in my job environment strictly on the ability to do my job properly, and perhaps better than anyone else.

If I get involved in my own time ... which I do ... then we can all argue about it on my own time, but not on the basis of my job or my work or the goods that I am making or selling on the market! If I run the company and there is policy that you don’t like, well, then complain away through company channels, if you want ... I PERSONALLY DON’T CARE!

I figure that I can get involved personally (with whatever my own personal political or religious or sexual preferences are) on my own time. And the company can handle its own policies, too. My work remains separate, the company remains separate, and the products (and/or services) are the only thing I care about, PERIOD!

OH ... BY THE WAY ... I’m typing this on an iPad ... LOL ...

— — — — —

AND ... I’ll “fine tune it further” for you!

I heard about the Chick-Fil-A hulla-ballo a few months back. Before that time, I had never in my life stepped foot into their place. But, I thought, okay ... I’ve never been there, I’ll step in and see what their stuff is like. I thought I would add a few dollars to their till, for good measure, and see if their stuff was worth buying.

WELL ... let me tell you ... after trying them out a few times ... I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO CHICK-FIL-A! Their stuff is mediocre at the best. I won’t bother with them again! I don’t care what they promote or think ... if it’s CRAP PRODUCT, you won’t find me in there ... PERIOD.

Let’s go on down the line ... I heard about some company that won a supreme court case in regards to Obamacare. That’s great. I’m glad to hear it. Is that going to get me to go in there, just because they won a Supreme Court case?! NO WAY! I didn’t go in there before and I don’t intend on going in there later on. If someone I’m with wants to go in there, I’ll go with them, because I don’t have anything against them, but I don’t have “anything for them” in regards to their products either. I’ve never wanted to go in there, at ANY TIME IN MY LIFE! So, why am I going to go in there now?!

I’ll tell you what I do ... however ... in order to SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS if I see some that are worthy of it, I’ll GIVE THEM MONEY as a donation!

When I buy products, I’ll buy it for what I consider a FAIR EXCHANGE — my money for their product, and I don’t care WHO THEY ARE. I’ll buy from the devil, if he’s selling something for a fair price. I get what I want, and he gets the money ... and that’s it.

NOW ... for organizations that GET MONEY FROM ME ... because I want to support them ... I’m going to suggest a few that YOU SUPPORT with your money, as a DONATION.

You should support ...

Olive Tree Ministries - Jan Markell
http://www.olivetreeviews.org

Hope for Today - David Hocking
http://www.davidhocking.org

World of the Bible Ministries - Dr. Randall Price
http://www.worldofthebible.com

Pre-Trib Research Center - Dr. Tommy Ice

Answers in Genesis - Ken Ham
https://answersingenesis.org

Edmond Faith Bible Church - Dr. Mark Hitchcock
http://edmondfaithbible.com

First Baptist Dallas - Dr. Robert Jeffress
http://www.firstdallas.org

You donate to them, and then you can talk to me about other companies. Until then I don’t want to hear it, until you put your “money where your mouth is” in terms of SUPPORTING organizations with donated money and NOT products (which is merely exchange of goods and services for money and nothing more!).

If you don’t want to donate money to those organizations that I listed, then YOU ARE NOT WORTH TALKING TO ... as far as I’m concerned. I don’t want anything to do with you; you’re worthless!

That’s RIDICULOUS for me! I’m not about to boycott Apple products, because they’re the BEST PRODUCTS I’ve ever seen on the market for what they do! Why am I going to give my money to CRAP PRODUCT to another CRAP COMPANY, just to get an INFERIOR PRODUCT?! That’s dumb for me to get crappy product!

Yep ... “van” ... you’re on just about every Apple thread that I see, because you’re a member of the APPLE-HATER CULT on Free Republic!

As Swordmaker has pointed out, there are hundreds of Freepers who have wanted him to ping them about Apple Products and services. So, he does.

And you can bet ... “van” ... as part of the APPLE-HATER CULT on Free Republic, you’ll be there ... LOL ...

Yep, Steve Jobs kept it that way for Apple, as he was about selling product. And even with Apple doing this ... as far as I’m concerned ... I’m buying product and the BEST PRODUCT on the market. I will NOT have my political votes mixed up with getting the BEST PRODUCT on the market.

If there are any conservative who think that they can build a better product and beat Apple at selling to the public ... THEN GET TO IT! Until then, I don’t care!

I’ll buy a used car or a new car from a flaming fag, if he has the best deal around for me! I’ll buy a cake, at a bakery from a Muslim, if their cakes are the best around (at least within a reasonable driving distance ... LOL ...). I’ll get my gasoline from an owner of a gas station that HATES JESUS and cusses him out, if he has gas that is convenient and good for me.

For example, I get gasoline from QuikTrip in Tulsa and it’s “Top Tier Gasoline” which is the only kind I’ll buy for my car. And their prices are the best, in general and they’re also within reasonable distance. That owner might be a flaming fag and he might donate to all the fag organizations in the world — and I don’t know and I don’t care! I’m buying gasoline and not a political party ... LOL ...

I’ll get the BEST AROUND for my money ... and then I’ll DONATE MONEY to organizations that are the BEST TO DONATE TO.

If anyone wants a list of the BEST to donate money to ... I gave y’all a list in my previous post! See Post #114!

It’s a mistake politically, as far as I’m concerned, but it is NOT A MISTAKE when it comes to buying the BEST PRODUCT AROUND, for what I want and pay for!

I’ll do my voting at the ballot box! And I do that regularly and faithfully. That vote is what affects the laws that are passed. If the majority of the population outvotes me, the “so bet it” ... I’m done after I cast my vote.

I’m not going to be an idiot, and run around getting the WORST PRODUCTS on the market, to “cast a vote” towards some political lobbying from a company. I’ll get the BEST PRODUCT and then I’ll vote at the ballot box. Everyone who wants to do different can be an IDIOT if they want to, but I’m not doing it!!

AND ... for those who want to SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS that are worthy of support (and NOT exchanging money for a product or service, because that’s an “even up exchange”) ... y’all who want to support organizations with DONATIONS (now, “that” is real support) ... can start with the LIST I put down that I fully support.

Start with them and then we can talk more! See Post #114 for those organizations!

He already mentioned the other states ... you didn’t read far enough. But, that doesn’t mean if they take a political stance, that it’s going to change my political stance. I’ll still vote the same way at the ballot box — when I’m ALSO BUYING THE BEST PRODUCT AROUND ... which are the Apple products!

If you want to actually SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS for their right positions, use that list that I gave, because it’s a FUNDAMENTAL LIST, because if you follow what they are doing, then all the rest of the things in society will fall into line. DONATE to that list that I gave you, then you’ll be talking about some REAL SUPPORT and not going around buying INFERIROR PRODUCT from some other company. I’ll keep buying the BEST PRODUCT AROUND, no matter whether it’s an atheist or a Muslim or a cult member or an Jesus hater ... or you name-it!

I’ll be voting at the ballot box the way I want the legislation to go, and I’ll be buying product according to what is the BEST PRODUCT around!

See my list at Post #114 for where you can start DONATING money to!

I won’t switch to an INFERIOR PRODUCT because the CEO is a fag! I buy my products for what they do for my requirements, and get the BEST PRODUCT AROUND for my own personal benefit, and not for politics. I do my politics at the ballot box, and then I do my “buying” on the marketplace in our free enterprise system.

If someone else wants to buy INFERIOR PRODUCTS and be as DUMB AS A ROCK, then go right ahead and be an IDIOT! My products (no matter what they are ... gasoline, cakes, cars, computers, appliances, and other goods and services) are based upon market decisions and not political decisions.

If someone wants to SUPPORT GOOD ORGANIZATIONS then DONATE MONEY to them. I mean just GIVE THEM MONEY FOR NOTHING!! PERIOD!

I’ve got a list for giving organizations MONEY FOR NOTHING (namely no product in exchange). See my list at Post #114 and give your money to them if you want to SUPPORT SOMEONE! If you want to vote for or against laws ... go the ballot box. If you want to get products and services, get the best around for your money.
