SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff says he doesnt want his employees subjected to discrimination as part of their work for the San Francisco-based company, and he is cancelling all required travel to the state of Indiana following the signing of a religious freedom law that some say allows business to exclude gay customers.
On Thursday, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence signed into law a religious objections bill that some business leaders have opposed amid concern it could allow discrimination against homosexuals.
Indiana is the first state to enact such a change this year among about a dozen where such proposals have been introduced. The measure would prohibit state and local laws that substantially burden the ability of peopleincluding businesses and associationsto follow their religious beliefs.
Benioff says that goal puts Indiana law at odds with Salesforce philosophy.

But seriously, I'd prefer that people who sue bakers for not wanting to produce cakes for a "gay wedding" stay in their own states and not bully people in other states.
The Empire Strikes Back. What is the over/under on months before Indiana folds?
The lines are being drawn between those who serve Caesar and those who serve the Lord.
Another tragic case of sudden homosexual hissy-fit syndrome.
Will I have to move to Chicago? LOL
Well, Marc is free to choose not to send his people there.
It’s all about choices.
WHOA if they do THIS, then I am going to Indiana to LIVE. I would LOVE to be in a place we didn’t have to worry about sensitive people who are already confused if they were born a boy or a girl
A whole nation of whiney drama queens. That’s what one generation of so-called gay liberation amounts to . . . well, that and an ongoing epidemic of sexually transmitted diseases.
Never heard of ‘em. I wiki’d them. A 40 billion dollar company. Not that big by global standards.
But this. This was telling:
....although the company has never turned a profit since its inception in 1999.
It’s not fascism when your cause is just.
Now shut your bigoted faces and go pay your taxes. Your hard working liberal government is broke. :)
Salesforce Inc. is a global cloud computing company headquartered in San Francisco, California. Though best known for its customer relationship management (CRM) product, Salesforce has also expanded into commercial applications of social networking through acquisition... ...the company has never turned a profit since its inception in 1999.
It sounds like Indianans won't be missing out on much.
Sales force is overpriced anyway.
Matters not, the big companies who have invested in and rely on SFDC will put pressure on Pence, bigtime. Watch.
Christian haters outing themselves.
Oh, Dear Lord. I live in Indiana and have a lot of gay friends who are endlessly decrying this law as Jim Crow/a trip back to the lunch counters of the segregated south. I simply provide them with a link to the law, verbatim, including the two amendments the Indiana House added to the bill that specifically dictates that the law does NOT provide a legal defense for breaking established anti-discrimination or civil rights laws.
I think the lefties will look with fondness to what they have been able to do with lies and propaganda in order to agitate and mobilize the ill-informed and the intellectually lazy.
And besides, there will always be some business person that won’t have an objection.
The homos specifically target those that are owned by Christians in order to bring punishment down on their heads.
Sales Force was spoofed this morning in an email campaign to get you to login with your personal ID, etc.
Hopes it causes the pansys’ grief.
>>>Benioff says that goal puts Indiana law at odds with Salesforce philosophy.<<<
Salesforce’s philosophy is at odds with the majority of moral Americans.
What about the OTHER 19 STATES that have identical laws?
Are they canceling those as well, or are they just hypocrites, going by whatever the latest DailyKos-approved current Truth happens to be?
