It’s not just this. My point is, the media along with many Republicans are already turning on Cruz with baseless attacks. I mean Steve King (a republican) called Cruz a “carnival barker” ...
I am sure Cruz can handle the attacks, it is just sad to see some of the comments and commentary coming from Republicans. King could have easily said he disagreed with some of Cruz positions but he had to get in the gutter. Lets just hope Cruz doesn’t come out with an ad claiming “I am not a carnival barker” .....

Peter King, of New York, not Steve King from Iowa.

Peter King had hopes of running for president himself, and he's kind of an old crank nowadays.

I'd say a candidate has to expect that not everybody's going to support him right out of the gate. It would be silly for Cruz or his supporters to get bent out of shape because Dana Perino (who worked for George W. Bush) or Greg Gutfeld (who's more an entertainer -- and a good one -- than anything else) don't love Ted from day one.
