There is nothing dumber than a frat boy full of Coors Light, especially when he has a video camera.
This is not a Free Speech issue.
The frat lost it’s national charter to a private organization and university policy states that a frat must have a national charter to be on campus.
Exactly, there is obviously no free speech at the University. Free Speech should mean exactly that. But you can’t insult a minority. The President is just another product of our politically correct education system — as are so many other posters on this board..

How many of these now former frat boys have lost their freedom (as in how many are incarcerated due to their speech).

Please click the link at reply #7 and let us know if any of these BLACK fraternity/sorority organizations are present at OU and if any of them have nondiscrimination policies. I’ve searched for the answer but can’t find a list of the Greek organizations on campus. SAE has a nondiscrimination policy. This group of individuals violated the fraternity policy. Here’s the statement from SAE from the article:
“The national SAE organization said in its own statement that it closed the Oklahoma Kappa chapter at the University of Oklahoma and suspended all of the fraternity’s members — and the members involved with the incident could have their membership privileges revoked permanently. We apologize for the unacceptable and racist behavior of the individuals in the video, and we are disgusted that any member would act in such a way,” the online statement read. “Furthermore, we are embarrassed by this video and offer our empathy not only to anyone outside the organization who is offended but also to our brothers who come from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures and races.”
The problem is the only people capable of being racists are white. Black fraternities and sororities, NAACP, Congressional Black Caucus, etc, etc discriminate against whites but are not racist. It’s a one-way-street and it’s wrong.
That is so untrue.
Blacks say racist things all the time and nobody blinks - much less call it a crime.

It is a free speech issue. The frat lost its national charter is appropriate as is students shunning the chapter. But the “authority” whether it be the government or the University Pres, taking action is not.

I am not confusing anything. If students shun the fraternity or it loses its charter (as is the case) fine, that is consequences. But the authority, whether it be the government or the President of the U to look at kicking the individuals out is BS and is a hit on free speech. The consequences should come from the people around them, not from authority, especially when is it PC BS. No Black fraternity would ever have anything happen to them regardless of what they have already said or will say or do. I am sick and tired of Blacks saying/doing anything they want with no consequences, but let them be “offended” (which happens at a drop of a hat) and the people involved must be persecuted or prosecuted. And you and others like you fall full in line for the PC BS.

There was at least 1 all-black fraternity when I was OU thirty years ago (as well as a Black Student Union). Don’t know about nondiscrimination policies.

She didn’t ask him if he was in Alpha Phi Alpha or any other black fraternity and if so, what nondiscrimination policies does your fraternity enforce. I don’t do FaceBook or Tweet, otherwise I’d send Kelly one to give this issue a ‘fair and balanced’ look.
