Sunday on CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” John Cook, the executive editor for investigations at Gawker Media, said in 2013, after emails from Clinton to Sidney Blumenthal, a former aide to President Bill Clinton, leaked, he “alerted” White House press secretary Josh Earnest that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was using a private email account.

Many of the left wants Hillary completely off the playing field for 2016. They do not want to deal with her, her husband and all the heavy baggage that is usually overlooked or excused. This could get as vicious as Sunni vs Shia behavior.

Congressional Republicans asked the Obama administration on Friday for a list of White House staffers’ personal email addresses used to conduct government business — and copies of messages sent from those accounts — amid new scrutiny of presidential aides’ use of non-official accounts.
“The American people have a right to know that White House staff and federal officials are conducting the business of the government transparently and in accordance with record-keeping statutes,” Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), the chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, wrote in a Friday letter to White House chief of staff Jack Lew.

As the Smoking Gun and others have reported, a hacker calling himself (or herself) “Guccifer” claims to have compromised the email account of former Clinton aide Sidney Blumenthal, revealing memos that Blumenthal purportedly wrote to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton about Benghazi and other matters. What seems to have escaped notice is that Blumenthal, a fierce Clinton partisan in the 1990s, was the orchestrator of a subterranean smear campaign against Obama during the Democratic primary and was specifically spiked by the White House as a potential staffer for Clinton when she became Secretary of State. And he was sending notes to Clinton at a private, non-governmental email address. Did Obama know Clinton was consulting with the guy who tried to kneecap him?

I think they may lay the complete Benghazi mess at her feet and “look” really surprised when they do. In my opinion the Dems were in a civil war during nominations to trade black people for hispanics. Something went wrong and Hillary didn’t win the nomination. That war was put on hold while Obama is in office. I keep reading how “divided” the right is but very little on the infighting on the left.
