Hillary Clinton is hurting herself by not publicly addressing the concern about revelations that she used a private email service during her time as secretary of State, said Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.).
“What I would like is for her to come forward and say just what the situation is,” said Feinstein, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, during an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
Some lawmakers have suggested that in doing so, Clinton broke the spirit, if not the letter, of the rules requiring the government to archive letters and emails of top officials.
Feinstein said she didn’t think Clinton broke any laws.
“As I understand it, the regulations were unclear and there’s no specific law,” she said.
Feinstein pointed to a law signed by President Obama in November that required government officials to forward any business emails from a personal account to a government account within 20 days.
“That in itself said the situation wasn’t clear,” she said. “It has to be cleared up.”
But Clinton needs to help clear up her email arrangement, she added.
As a “preeminent political figure” and the “leading candidate to be the next president,” Clinton needs to “come out and state exactly” what her motivations were, Feinstein said.
“From this point on, the silence is going to hurt her,” she added.

It is less damaging to Liberals to simple be caught telling a lie than it is for them to admit the truth.
The only flaw in this statement is the assumption that she's capable of telling the truth. After all...what difference can it make?
The reason she has been able to get away with steering tens of billions of dollars to her husband's business interests is by staying silent.
She even went so far as to refuse to debate her Republican opponent in the last election cycle lest the subject come up.
In honor of the time change, Hillary Clinton is holding a press conference today where she is going to announce that she’s a dirty liar and thief who has people killed in order for her to get their money.
Then she’s going to change herself into some lemon pudding.

Swineswine isn’t up for re-election until 2018. She will most likely retire and not seek another term, unless of course she “meets her maker” in the interim as she’s now 81.
Why doesn’t Hillary do the honorable thing and announce she is not running for President, but will be running for secretary general of the UN next time around?
This way she can run against Obama and do to him what he did to her.
The press will believe any lie - no matter how stupid or obvious... if it drops from a Clinton mouth. And they’ll print Hillary’s excuses as if her word is truth...
And our side will see the lie for what it is - and we’ll be totally ignored.
Whether she’s hurting herself depends on what the facts are. The Senator is right Hillary probably come up with some kind of fairy tail which might be better than silence.
