Levin was sounding the sirens on this months ago.
The main issue here is the money the FEDS would use to “Fund” these efforts.
All this money would come with strings attached and the burdens to comply will increase as soon as they think they can’t live without the money.
This is how virtually every Federal dept. operates.
They offer the States a bunch of money if they follow these new rules. The States take the money, institute the rules and then the rules are expanded well beyond their initial intent.
Article V, is the only way out.
The States need to say NO to the money.
