How will this work with the sheriffs?
Remember the sheriff of a county is the overriding law enforcement official and, legally, anyone coming in for law enforcement purposes must get is permission to be there.

Not true. If the feds are carrying out their legal and constitutional duties, a sheriff has no authority to stop them. However, a sheriff cannot be compelled or drafted to carry out federal edicts. The sheriff can step in, though, when federal fascists are carrying out illegal acts, including not obeying or hindering local and county laws. The Courts have recognized that both local and state governments are sovereigns.
