I bit the bullet and started buying LED bulbs, they are expensive but I can read better with a 7 1/2 watt LED than I could with a 60 watt incandescent, the light is whiter than incandescent and the bulbs last a long, long time. I never want another “compact” flourescent, they are the pits.
It is nice to be able to light up a 17 x 28 foot room with 37 1/2 watts rather than 300 watts. What counts in the long run is total cost for lighting rather than the cost of a bulb. I have spent enough on a few LED bulbs to buy a closetful of incandescent but my electric bill is noticeably smaller, in the long run I come out ahead.

“It is criminal enterprise under the guise of government!”

Thank you, that is exactly what it is and it is exactly what any form of collectivist government is. The only thing amazing is how many people make excuses for it.

And the criminal enterprise has two divisions RNC and DNC.
Until people come to the conclusion that the GOP is in bed with the Democommunists we will not vote our way out of this.

I agree. I had some small modicum of hope that the new GOP majority would do the right thing but I now see that is not going to happen. Secession, CWII whatever you want to call it is inevitiable no matter who gets elected in 2016.

And `water saving toilets’ that have to be flushed twice to work, so some fed. gov. drone can justify his pay.
Penalizing people who can’t afford health insurance. Threatening to shoot down allies’ jets. Sending jack-booted thugs to take a man’s ranch, only to be backed-down by patriots.
They are constantly trying to destroy the 2nd amendment. Capiche?
The list of abuses covers the gamut and goes on-and-on.

I’m wondering when they will regulate that we all have remote controlled (by them) thermostats so they can control the temperature in our homes? Or how about a governor in our engines so we can’t go above certain speeds? Etc.....

There will be no oversight of the Executive and Judiciary by Congress, because at this point, Congress is bought and paid for. This is due to the twin poisons of the 17th Amendment and the arbitrary limitation of the House to only 435 people.

Using the Founders' ideas of one representative per 25,000 (IIR), the US House should be 12,800 strong at this point. Such an enormous group of people could never be controlled. The elites knew that, hence the small group we have now.

By making the Senate into an elective position, the elites now control each and every one of those seats, taking away the states' seat of power at the table.

The final piece to the totalitarian puzzle, a dictator willing to do anything he wants, is now in place.

This Republic is over, people. What we have now is a transition to something else.

What makes you think they couldn’t be controlled? 300 million people are basically controlled by 9 Supreme Court justices.

The Republic was doomed around 1912 when the state legislatures were no longer to appoint senators to Washington for a four-year term.

The Republic was doomed when the weasels made the first motion to begin feathering their nests to make Congress a career.

The Republic will be continually battered until the American people repair the short circuit in their brains that prevent them from seeing that the USA is a one-party system with two heads.

"...I realized we’ve been fascist to a significant degree for decades."

Jonah Goldberg wrote a pretty exhaustive and analysis of the entire devolution a few years back. I can highly recommend it...
