Remember who is ultimately in charge of all things, and we have turned away from HIS protection. We will now see the consequences of doing so. God's judgement is upon this Nation.
Many of us haven't yet recovered from the amazement of what's going on in our nation thanks to a parasitic sub-human monster who runs rampant.
Time to wake up.
It’s amazing the grief I get when I tell people that the US did not become socialist so much as fascist. They think I’m nuts until I ask them to read up on what fascism actually means and how it is applied. Limits on incandescent bulbs - fascism. Limits on toilet bowl capacity - fascist. Minimum wage - fascist.
Etcetera.
Once my blinders were taken off I realized we’ve been fascist to a significant degree for decades.
I blame the republicans in congress for this problem as they have done nothing to stop this fascist and his allies, maybe because the republican leadership are his allies too.
Von Mises has an excellent article on fascism, and the US fits the model.
I understand what you're saying, but I personally don't find it useful to talk about distinctions between socialism and fascism, since that conversation only provides leftists with a distraction to raise whenever they are challenged.
The truth is, socialism and fascism are two sides of the same totalitarian leftist coin. The difference between socialism and fascism is like the difference between wolf feces and bear feces, which is to say, no meaningful difference at all.
Better to go right to the core of the matter, which is that whether you are a "fascist" or a "socialist," either way, you are a totalitarian leftist and an enemy of liberty.
Which means that you are either a tyrant, a tyrant wannabe, or a tyrant enabler, and thus can NEVER claim to be one of the good guys, or to hold the moral high ground under any circumstances.
Limits on incandescent bulbs - fascism
I went to the store to buy light bulbs yesterday. It was the first time ever that I could not find the incandescent bulbs. All they had were the halogen bulbs and they were $6 for two! I didn’t buy any and will continue to look for the incandescent ones. Our government is way out of control and needs to be reigned in.
I think the word fascist has been used so much to describe right-wing politics that the real meaning has been lost.
Nothing I disagree with there.
I’ll throw this out: more and more, over the last 10 years, the US reminds me of how, in grade school in the 60’s, the USSR was described to me.
It is criminal enterprise under the guise of government!
We have a large population in modern America that could not abide freedom. They could not or refused to survive under the governing system of our constitution. We have an elite class that wants to “rule” in a globalist system of governance and that uses this incapable and dysfunctional segment of the population as an excuse to dissolve the constitution and steal from the people.
There is only one way we could retrieve our Republic and that is to split the Nation. But that is not going to happen without a civil war and the police state and the mass of illegal foreign Nationals has that in check. Ultimately, we are going to lose our country totally to globalism. We have already lost most of it to globalism.
We need to create a system in which the blue states must live within their means suffer from their foolishness.
He should be ashamed, yet he is bragging.
Perhaps the biggest lie of them all.
No, no, and hell no.
I agree. I also think it is inevitable. You can read about it all over the prophesies in the Bible.
Suppose someone threw a revolution and no one cared?
Yes. That was deliberate (and typical) word play straight out of the left wing playbook. It defines the political spectrum as fascist on the right and socialist on the left.
That distinction came about after Hitler broke his non-aggression pact with Stalin by attacking the Soviet Union.
Thus, if you weren't a socialist (i.e. the enlightened good guys), then you were an evil Hitleresque fascist -- you know like F.A. Hayek, Thomas Jefferson and Ronald Reagan.)
That's why I don't get into that argument. Keep your eye on the ball when arguing with leftists.
I agree with most of the conclusions and rational of the piece. but could these writers get a clue about the segregationist wording of this phrase and eliminate it from thoughtful conservative dialog —
republican principles of federalism (states rights)
rights are granted by god on individual human beings. states are grated powers by the people who live in them.
also the phrase “crony capitalist” as a substitute for socialist or communist. please writers don’t mix the two principles like the left wants us to do.
was it a separate article or something from his book human action?
Reminds me of New Speak, Orwellian.
