Because the 'Rats have so many outlets to point out when we say something stupid. They have the all the alphabet networks, and most of the newspapers.
We have to be perfect. We can't go spouting off like Joe (Stand up Chuck!) Biden. We can't be caught comparing Occupy Wall Street hippies with Muslims that want to cut off our heads.
Well then we're in trouble because nobody's perfect. Maybe that's why we went through every primary candidate last time, looking for perfection.
