surströmming, I bring that up to my wife whenever she comments on lutefisk. Except I call it year old rotten fish.
I think it is similar to rakfisk, which is trout or char, treated the same way.
Neither is a ‘delicacy’ I would try.
Instead of forcing bacon on captured terrorists, force rakfisk or surströmming on them! That’ll teach ‘em to mess with Northern Europe!
