Noooooooooooo!!!
Say it ain't so! Where oh where will your humble correspondent get his Brony updates? The sad day has finally arrived. MSNBC, as has been completely expected, has dumped both Ronan Farrow and Joy Reid. What kind of cruel world is this that a TV show can be cancelled merely due to horrible ratings? Dylan Byers at Politico delivers the sad funeral oration:

Technically they are both now in MSNBC purgatory which means do-nothing jobs for a soft landing until they are shown the exit door.

If an MSNBC show is cancelled that no one watched anyway, was it ever really on the air?

I didn’t believe that until I saw that young Frank Sinatra pic on the bottom. Does look like him.

My favorite Wulf Blister moment was when he was saying something stupid arguing with Trump. And Trump said “Well Wulf, since about 40 thousand people watch this show, you don’t have to worry about being embarrassed.”

What should be extremely worrisome to cable providers is the steady decline of young viewers (especially ones with families) who drop their cable plans to go the Roku or Hulu route. For a fraction of the cost many tv shows can be watched without paying for the cable tv option.
Even though we can afford it, my wife and I dropped our cable premium channels to save dough. There is not one network show I like and very few cable shows. Sports is about the only reason I watch tv. "Better Call Saul" is the only cable show I look forward to.
