If in fact it was a Tochka-U missile, the range would be approx. 70KM. Newer versions 120KM.

Russian experts are currently shifting through the ruble to determine what happened. Spark? Odd, angry shot? Arty? Or Tochka-U?

Understand that. But what I meant was that the distance from the blast to observer was about three miles using 1 second = 1000 ft from the video.

Ok. Got it. In your opinion....Tochka? Arty???? Massive whatever it was. Perhaps Russian experts will reveal findings soon. There would obviously be some sort of remnant from Tochka, if it was used.

Things are getting very nasty over there. Smersh rockets reportedly used on Kramatorsk yesterday. No resolution to this mess in sight. From my recliner anyways...

My guess. Arty hit 152 mm ammo dump, lots of rounds were already fuzed. Fast boom instead of extended blast. Or maybe fuel air bomb.

That and $.50 used to get you a cup of coffee.
