I know a guy that made good money running Coors beer into Oregon back in his college days.
I remember when NJ raised the drinking age to 21 while in NY it was still 18. On any given Fri or Sat night, the parking lots at every bar and liquor store in Rockland and Orange Counties were filed with cars with NJ tags.

All I know is, thank G-D ALMIGHTY, my lovely daughter never took up smoking. My S-I-L did but thankfully quit some time ago. In fact hardly any of their friends smoke cigarettes, though a couple of them mess around a little with pot. This generation seems to get the message, at least in this respect.

No. Smoking is stupid, but people should have the right to be idiots. Choosing to smoke is nowhere near as dumb as choosing to vote for Obama, and their Nanny State allowed them to make that horribly destructive decision. Cancer, perhaps, and only after a few decades, is trivial in comparison.

Is this for cancer? If the case is hopeless, then I don’t suppose it really matters. I’m not going to wish that a kid spend his entire life in pain. But I have to wonder if spending your entire life stoned is really a better option.
