It's official: Nicolle Wallace really doesn't like Sarah Palin. On today's Morning Joe, Wallace—who was Palin's chief handler during the 2008 campaign—took the occasion of Palin's speech at the Iowa Freedom Summit on Saturday to jab at the former veep candidate.
Wallace had been asked to comment on conservative columnist Byron York's panning of Palin's speech as "long, rambling, and at times barely coherent." York's column also passed along criticism of the speech by a number of Iowa Republicans. Wallace said that it was interesting to see York come "full circle," since back in 2008 he had been a staunch Palin defender, blaming the campaign for the way she was packaged. Wallace then doubled down with this dig: "This is who she is. This to me is evidence that she has finally shed last one of those annoying handlers." Reeoorw!

To be fair, Palin’s speech was a mess. She is officially in Donald Trump territory, making news to hype a TV show.
It was an excellent speech which attacked media hacks like Wallace and Joe.

I listened to and watched a recording of her Iowa speech. It was perfect Palin. If she went rogue and disobeyed her current “handlers”, then that is wonderful!
What else does Nicole have as a claim to fame except how she and Schmidt destroyed Palin’s VP run.
The press/media is schizophrenic and doesn’t know whether they want SP to run or not. Idiots.
Compare her "speech" to Gingrich's and you'll see what a statesmen should sound like.

The more personal the attack, the more worried they are.
And for the record, Wallace is a jealous bitch, but remember she also earns a good living by saying stuff like this. If she had nothing but praise for Palin, who’d hire her?
Nicolle Wallace was part of the team that led a losing, nay disasterous, presidential campaign.
Why should she be accorded any credibility?

I’d like to take a moment and point out how unprofessional Nichole Wallace is behaving.
She was a former ‘handler’ for Sarah Palin, in the 2008 campaign. Therefore, she was privvy to a lot of private and confidential information.
Yet, in 2014, she expresses she does not like Palin, and mocks her.
This is unprofessional. It was unprofessional when Gary Aldrich did it to Clinton; it is unprofessional when Nicholle Wallace does it to Palin.
A mark of a true professional is to refrain from comment for the ONE PERSON you worked for. There are 7,999,999,999 people you can still comment about and mock. Just leave YOUR charge out of it.
I would run, not walk, if she was ever presented to me as MY handler.
