What is the Affordable Care Act?
The Affordable Care Act, also known as the health care law, was created to expand access to coverage, control health care costs and improve health care quality and care coordination. The health care law does not change VA health benefits or Veterans’ out-of-pocket costs.
Three things you should know:
1 VA wants all Veterans to receive health care that improves their health and well-being.

3 If you are not enrolled in VA health care, you can apply at any time.

Family Members

Hubby is a Ret SCPO, 20 yrs, he does NOT qualify under the income restrictions for VA. Not even for service related health issues like hearing, and eyes. And neither Medicare nor Tricare Life cover hearing aids.
We just shelled out $3400K for mine which are the low budget ones. He will need the high budget ones which are $3400K each. A Co-Pay would have been nice, as they are a needed medical device.
We are under the RATIONED Medicare and Tricare Life crap.
