Did not see one yet. Trying to access CSPAN on line. Site looks different. Are they requiring a registration to watch?

As I said yesterday...

You have to understand you are posting to the real world version of the robot kid in the movie “AI”. Specifically, the part where he stands before the statue of a blue fairy at an old amusement park praying over and over to make him a real boy until finally, after many years, he shuts down when his power source drains.

What’s next? I forecast a House member during regular business running the floor and holding her baby in her arms.

Suprised Boehner didn't offer to nurse one of the tots.

I have been thinking the same thing, but I think that the alcoholism nay be enough to account for his actions.

Alcoholics tend to have a whole trail of embarrassing things they need to have kept quiet. So do politicians... combine the two factors, and it's pretty much guaranteed that he has things he's vulnerable for.

Obama has a history of abusing his power with the various agencies under his control (IRS, CIA, etc.)... so controlling the speaker of the house would be a very likely activity for him to have undertaken early on.

Other than some sort of severe brain damage or something, nothing else explains Bonehead's long record of disappointing behavior.

OK, here’s my plan. I say every time one of these clowns shows their face in public everybody turns their backs to them.

I'm thinking more like flying tomatoes are needed.

I’m not sure there is any hope for constitutional government at all any more.

It’s all looking like theater, a fake reality show for us peons.

The Dems use the stupid colorful poor and stupid white rich by appealing to their greed and emotions.

The Republicans use the most hardworking, decent, fair Americans by appealing to their love for the country as the founders created it.

IT’S ALL A BLEEPING LIE. To make money for the elite rulers and all their progeny.

Maybe I’ll run for office as a Dem. I’d rather screw dumb people than the patriots trying to keep our country free. These elected Republicans (with the noted exceptions) are heartless, clutching their own privates and slamming the door on us who bring them to the dance.

CSpan showing the chatting in the House. Party time!

What are they waiting for? The Palm fronds to wave when the Tan Won arrives?

They just showed the PA delegation doing a group shot. Like HS selfies at a dance.

The time for that was long ago. Now, it is time for now-former Republicans to forget about the Republican party, and concentrate on other options. UKIP took England by storm. A similar storm needs to occur here.

While this means abandoning those remaining Republicans who stand in opposition to Boehner/McConnell, it is necessary. Any Republican politician is now an enemy of what this country was founded on, even if they are committed conservatives. They give strength to conservatism's enemies, simply be association, and by lending numbers to the party. They give strength to conservatism's enemies, by maintaining the illusion that conservatism has a voice in the Republican party. And they give strength to conservatism's enemies, by failing to take concrete steps that would actually harm conservatism's primary foe, which is the Republican party itself. They are now officially just-for-show, and the fork in the road is upon them.

If Cruz, Palin, Lee, Sessions, Gohmert, etc. don't show leadership now, and peel away from the Republican party, then they are part of the problem, and need to step aside.

I'll second this statement.

It would be a shame if the RNC webpage ‘somehow’ redirected to the DNC page.

How could you tell if it did?

So they could have gotten to 29 and it would have fallen short I guess, because a lot of Democrats are missing. Gotta believe that Boehner owes Pelosi one.

I will stay with Cruz as long as he’s in.

This is no way an indictment of Cruz. He has fought the good fight, and fought it well. But the moment of truth is upon him, for the fight is now over. If he stays in the party, he becomes part of the problem, not the solution. It is time to break free, and those that don't show courage and leadership should not be followed.

Why is it so hard for people to accept hes simply a liberal? That explains all his actions without conspiracy.

We should start the Whig Party.

Imagine if the Republicans replaced the Whigs, then the Whigs replaced the Republicans.
