Retired Air Force Colonel Martha McSally today announced the members who will serve on her Transition Team. The diverse group of experts and community leaders from Pima and Cochise Counties will provide input on hiring decisions and help set up McSally’s Arizona Congressional offices to ensure a smooth transition to office.
“It’s a privilege to work with so many talented and accomplished individuals from our community to get our office up and running,” said McSally. “Above all, our office needs to work for the people of Southern Arizona. Whether it’s constituent services or representing the views of Southern Arizonans in Congress, we need the most efficient and effective set-up possible. I’m grateful to everyone who’s lending their time to help make that happen and look forward to hitting the ground running when I take office.”
The Transition Team consists of members from across the political spectrum who bring diverse backgrounds, experiences, and expertise to the group. Short bios for each member are listed below.

From an objective point of view, it looks like she has connections with everybody who is anybody is southern Arizona.
A large number of her transition team used to work for her opponent. So I suspect she is insuring that by the next election, the seat will be hers to keep.

She made no attempt to hide her establishment credentials. Her answers to surveys and during debates made it clear she was the most liberal of the Republicans running in Arizona.

I would have a hard time supporting her if she represented a securely Republican district.
I’ll wait and see on that. Obamacare won’t be overturned as long as Obama himself is in the White House. I am hoping for the best.
Arizona Conservatives dodged a bullet when Vernon Parker, Jonathon Paton, Wendy Rogers, Andy Tobin, Kirk Adams, Quayle and others lost in one way or another. It would have sent a message amnesty is okay and safe.
When did Jim Kolbe become the 218th vote for Hastert for a conservative agenda?
The Arizona delegation as squishy as it is is much better than the average delegation and Gosar is definitely scared of a primary challenge. The top 3 are always in the top 10. Gosar is much more trustworthy on immigration closer to a Jeff Sessions, Steve King type candidate who varies on fiscal votes.

The way I figured it, her opponent would have been powerless in the minority. In the majority, she is a vote in John Boehner’s pocket to stomp on conservatives. In the end, I could not bring myself to vote for the democrat...but I bet she does more harm to conservatives than he could have.
That’s exactly what a bunch of FReepers said about Raul Labrador in 2010. I think I’ll wait to see what her voting record is like before declaring her to be Gabby Giffords with an R next to her name. (But I’ll go out on a limb and assert that she won’t have as conservative a voting record as Labrador does, given that her district is 20% less Republican than Labrador’s district.)

Are you from the district? Do you now the history of the last few elections? Do you understand how much Kolbe hates conservatives? Do you LIKE having democrats on the GOP transition team?
Do you think McSally is a conservative? If so, why? If not, then why are you pumped up that Boehner has an extra vote for his ideas? She is lining up to be Jim Kolbe in drag. That is not good news for conservatives...
