Overall they’re only 1% of the electorate. But if that small subset of a subset contributes money in any meaningful way to Cruz it’ll upend the Bush applecart. That’s where the fear comes from.

The Republicans will always get a small percentage of Jewish voters so I don't see any reason the Socialists (dems) would be concerned about a poll like this. - Tom
