Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) on Sunday strongly disputed claims by former Bush administration officials and fellow Republicans that harsh interrogation tactics used by the Central Intelligence Agency did not constitute torture.
McCain said he had vigorous discussion with former Vice President Dick Cheney and former Central Intelligence Agency Director Michael Hayden during the Bush administration urging them not to use excruciating methods.
I said these things are torture. Theyre in violation of the Geneva Convention and the convention against torture, he said on CBSs Face the Nation, noting that Congress later banned some of the techniques that were under debate.

I said these things are torture. Theyre in violation of the Geneva Convention and the convention against torture,(McCain)You're exactly right. The rules set forth by the Geneva Conventions only apply to uniformed combatants. If terrorists want to dress in order to blend in with the crowd, that's their problem.

They only thing Bush did wrong (with regard to the terrorists) was not to execute them summarily after torturing them for information.
Moving them to Gitmo and giving them special diets while using “proper Koran handling procedures” was a travesty.
Waterboard them, torture them by any other means necessary, test the information provided in the field, then hang them, preferably from the lower deck of the Verrazano-Narrows bridge as a warning to others.

How come McCain and the rest of the liberals never condemn the behavior of the Islamo-fascists?

John McCain cannot lift his arms up very high due to his tortures by the North Vietnamese. Someone who met him in person talks about this
His teeth all rotted. Maybe they knocked some out. He wears dentures which I'll bet are a complete set.
Lastly, his five years in that VC prison turned him into a lunatic which would be OK except that he inflicts his pathologies on the American people. Backstabber and a publicity hound. Don't get between the TV cameras and this senile old fool. He seems to be on meds that (side effect) warp his mind.

If terrorists want to dress in order to blend in with the crowd, that's their problem. And they deserve Torture, that is my point. By not torturing terrorists we coddle them into our shores where they will wantonly kill as they please.
