At some point, they will turn from lawsuits to outright sabotage..............
The endless lawsuits increase the likelihood of spills. Lawsuits make it more cost effective to ignore maintenance and pray the lines hold up.
After the Embridge spill here in Michigan a few years ago it was discovered that no one was doing inspections. What most of the news failed to point out that Granholm had never bothered to appoint the required state inspector. Had Embridge known the state was inspecting, they likely would have done the same just to be first to spot a problem.
Fortunately, we have since taken the state inspector out of the governor’s jurisdiction and put it under the direct control of the attorney general. These days Embridge is reporting problems before the state inspector ever has a chance to find them. The non confrontational relationship has enhanced safety.
Nothing involving oil and the Feral Gubmint will proceed until Bammy is gone and we have a conservative House,Senate and Pres.
