That’s all nice and good but not one single solitary GOP congressman voted for it in the US house or Senate.

Mr. RomneyCARE and the EXEMPT GOP
STILL Support this travesty
that will kill Americans
who survive the EV-68, tuberculosis, Ebola,
and other imported-by-force diseases
the malicious, odious EXEMPT Congress has forced on America.

I thought I remembered reading that Mitt's plan would only work at the state level; that was by design. The problems popped up when they tried to implement Romneycare on a national level. It was never supposed to be anything but a state plan.

I could be wrong, though

Ted Kennedy legacy— the kennedys ugly fingerprints all over the healthcare nightmare.

Kennedy pushed HMOS—— so they would FAIL in care.

Then, Kennedy pushed nationalized single payer healthcare from the government== “free”.

The ACA is designed to FAIL such that we would be forced into single payer. A disaster in every sense brought to you
by venture socialist/marxists.

I saw this segment about Gruber this morning on Morning Joe.

Former Gov. of Vermont Howard “Yeah!” Dean said the problem was the law was written by a bunch of elitist who don’t fundamentally understand the American people.

Gruber talking to Roan “Mia” Farrow said that the better way to do it was how they did it in MA and give people money to offset their healthcare, but that was politically unfeasible, and instead it was done through the tax code.

Now here is the spin from the panel:

Mike Barnacle:There was an budget director, Stockman, during the Reagan administration that said during an interview that none of us really understands the federal budget. Implying that Reagan knew nothing about the budget.

Mika said but there was a huge firestorm afterwards.

Dean: This guy was merely a consultant, not the architect, so it is not a bad a reflection of the current administration as that was on Reagan’s. And Stockman had a direct line to the president while Gruber probably did not.

Elise Viebak:(staff writer on the Hill, I think)
Makes this sounds very conspiratol, and that this was done in secret in back rooms. But there was a much more open process than Republicans believe. The parts of the bill was out there and open.

Dean: The Republicans are didn’t want to their input, so they should stop complaining, since they were trying to sabotage it. It’s the law 15 mil on OC. Plenty, Dean did not like but it’s the law and it works. This dustup is beating a dead horse.

No fan of Romney, but RomneyCare was a state initiative. If Taxachusettes wants to do it, fine with me. ObamaCare is a nation-wide initiative. Different thing. The Founding Fathers allowed for states to do these kinds of stupid things. Other states could and would choose to opt out.

RomneyCare, ObamaCare, apples and oranges.

If Obama used RomneyCare as his model, that's bad in and of itself, but they're two different things.

So, Obamacare used Romneycare passed in one of the bluest state in the Union. Why in the world does it automatically mean that Romneycare is a conservative idea? The fact that Obamacare got zero Republican vote in Congress is all that matters to make it a Democrat partisan one-size-fits-all monstrosity of a bill. The only Republican who can be tied to it is Romney. Who cares?

Hell those dumb monkey’s in the White House can not even plagiarize Romney’s mistakes; they should have gotten the proficient and experienced plagiarizer Joe Biden to copy it.
No wonder the chief monkey will not authorize the release of his school records, his marks are exactly the same as who ever sat next to him.

Dean is a bald faced liar. Gruber met with Nero 19 times to discuss NeroCare, helped write it and was paid 400,000 dollars to promote it

Every one of these NAZI bastards ought to be serving life for their corruption.

The White House used Mitt Romney's employee, Jonathan Gruber, to craft Obamacare.

Romney, the cultist pig, introduced and unleashed this cancer upon us. "Good man, good family" my *ss.

Couple of obvious differences:

Mass. is a state.
The law was debated and voted on by both parties and was actually known what was in it.

RomneyCare didn’t work at the state level either.

Which is where it should have been tried, and failed, and ended.

State's rights! Oops, was that my outside voice?
