Kellogg’s was a sponsor of the Atlanta Gay Pride March and festival last month. Apparently, Tony the Tiger wants to make sure you and your kids “wear your stripes with pride,” gay pride that is.

According to the American Family Association’s (AFA) Facebook page, “[t]hey even put an ad in the ‘Pride Guide.’”

Also displayed on the ad is Human Rights Campaign (HRC), who considers Kellogg one of the “BEST PLACES TO WORK,” due to its support "for LGBT Equality."

And a cereal company needs to get involved with this issue why?

For Aldi’s, I’d say be selective, more than usual. The dollar store, same sort of “be selective” deal. There might be some decent things there. I would not judge them that harshly. Maybe one can get raisins, etc. such things on the cheap.

Honestly, here is their weekly ad. Does it look so bad? Berries, Apples.

And as a rule, I don’t ever go there. Too far but I know people who do.

Actually - they have redid alot of their products - their health and organic are actually better or just as good as Kroger or Walmart...shop wise...that’s with anything....

They have a great little deli section and I get my almond milk there as well- no problems since they did a major over haul last year...some of the stores have wine - and they import German chocolate...I’ve shopped at Aldi’s for over 10 yrs off and on...just depends on the store I guess...

There are plenty of store brands to choose from now thankfully.

So I went to Aldi today looking for cereal and discovered they carry a brand called "Millville". The Millville cereal varieties are replicas of big name-brand counterparts. I walked out with five boxes of cereal to try. I poured myself a bowl of Honey Grahams, similar to a General Mills product, just to test the waters. Loved it. Tastes perfect. A bowl of Cocoa Rice showed it too is virtually indistinguishable from the competing Kelloggs version. We are on to something here. Kelloggs and General Mills didn't sell me any product today. So those dollars I did spend won't be used to advocate homosexuality. I can happily recommend Aldi for cereal; and I will explore their other goods as well. Kelloggs won't have any more of my breakfast money.

Cereal is great there - Millville is excellent.

Fit & Active is their healthy brand.

I stock up on their can foods for m prep stash as well.

Their Hams and Turkeys for the holidays - plus their deserts, chocolates, and just raw ingredients to make homemade deserts are outstanding.

I also get my almond milk there. To save money without sacrificing quality - this is the place to go.
