MA Gov: too close to call; no Coakley concession yet
WHDH TV ^ | 11/4/14 | raccoonradio

Posted on 11/04/2014 9:27:05 PM PST by raccoonradio

Update: MA Dem governor candidate Martha Coakley will not concede tonight; they are hoping to be within one half of one per cent which would trigger an automatic recount. Repub gov candidate Charlie Baker may say a statement soon but probably would not give a victory speech, as it's not polite (or good karma) to declare victory without getting concession from your opponent.

Coakley supporters being sent home.

95% OF PRECINCTS REPORTING Charlie Baker (R) 969,110 48% Martha Coakley (D) 945,815 47%

Charlie Baker is a radical left Republican, he would be in the left of the Dem Party too

Here in MA those on the left consider the likes of Baker,
Brown, Romney, Rich Tisei, etc to be far right “Rethuglicans” and “Teabaggers”....but, this is Massachusetts....

Seth Moulton (D) beat Rich Tisei in the 6th district.
Moulton beat John Tierney in the primary. Tierney had
hilarious mailers where he accused Moulton of being...
gasp..a REPUBLICAN IN DISGUISE!

(Anti-Scott Brown ad, 2010; the word “Republican”
was said as if it were “Nazi”): “Who is Scott Brown,
really? A Republican. Who will vote in lockstep with the Republican party. At times like these, we don’t need a REPUBLICAN...like Scott Brown...”)

Ch 4 Boston:
A speaker at Baker HQ said three major networks have called the race for Baker... (he may be speaking soon)
Char-lie! chant

Looks like GOP picked up one House seat in Maine, and one in NH. Otherwise southern New England remains firmly Dem when it comes to congressional reps.

Ch 4 Boston: Baker up by 32,000 votes with 2 per cent left to count

It was said if there were a 12,000 vote difference I think, auto recount...
