I would like the proof you and nana are speaking of, that being the proof of Romney being pro-abortion since 1963 when he was just 17 years old. I’m really curious about those quotes that nana claims from 1963 because I really doubt that Romney, at age 17 had staked out any positions publicly by that time. I can provide much more recent quotes that proves he is not pro-abortion, in fact it took me about 30 seconds to find hundreds of quotes that state his pro-life and pro-traditional marriage position.
I myself at age 18 was pro-abortion, and very liberal, in fact today 35 years later, there is scarcely any political position that I held as a teenager/young adult that has not changed 180 degrees. My point is that people change and Mitt Romney’s stated positions today are bound to be different than they were when he was 17 years old in 1963, or even 25 or 30 years old. People change their positions as we grow older and mature and gain wisdom. Mitt Romney’s statements in the 2012 campaign about abortion and gay marriage proves to me that he is solidly pro-life and solidly pro-traditional marriage and furthermore his statements prove him to be very understanding of and faithful to the Constitution and the process he would have had to follow thereby. And after searching I have not come up with any pro-abortion or pro-gay marriage quotes from him, that is why I called her a liar, because it is apparent that you purists, who cannot abide even the smallest difference of opinion on any issue and constantly lie, and take quotes out of context in order to try to prove your points about those with whom you disagree. And as stated previously debating dishonest people is the same whether they’re far left or far right. I simply expected more honesty from those on the right, but I’ve been sadly disappointed.
I just had a long conversation with one of you compatriots who stated that he could prove Rick Perry was pro-Amnesty, yet could not produce one scintilla of proof of any quote or policy statement from Perry that proved such. That is why I am asking, I hold out the fact that I could be wrong and missed something but then, when there is no proof forthcoming one is left to assume that that there was no proof to begin with. I only go where the evidence takes me when making judgments about politicians, other peoples interpretations of quotes and such are not proof in my book.
You seem conflicted, first you want to see him saying he was pro-choice since 1963, and then you dive into defending him being so, just in case, you mention when Mitt was 30, at 30 his religion still excluded blacks from full membership (for instance the draft evasion that Mitt used), and he was still a few years from becoming a church Bishop.
In this video you will first hear him give his mother’s Senate campaign as when he firmed up his pro choice views, but a few seconds later, he traces it back to 1963 for his entire family, that is the mention of the infamous “family friend” of 1963.

The family friend was Ann Keenan the sister of Romneys brother-in-law and died at the age of 21 in 1963.
In that video, Romney is running for the Senate and creeping up on his 50s, and had done fundraising for Planned Parenthood that same year.
Here is the photo that the Boston Globe revealed.
Here is the proabortion Mitt Romney's answers on the Planned Parenthood Questionaire (He is about 55 at this time).
