Romney would have been a great President. He loves our country and he is a great problem solver.

There are 70,987 points of poop in yours. I won’t point them out either.

You exaggerated and over simplified - and miss that the biggest problem then might well have been the White House - run by a man many conservatives just loved (at the time) because he (claimed to be) was pro life. Period. And then again, you ignored 9-11 from your analysis too.

Moreover, a small majority in the Senate is “not control” of anything really. And much of the growth in government is that damned baseline budgeting, which would require a super majority to over turn.

But your main mistake was trying to make false equivalencies. There is no way that the Bush / Hastert / Frist cabal was anything like the Obama / Pelosi / Reid cabal was. That’s just not even close.

Supporting conservative candidates does work.

You can’t teach a politician a lesson.

I am reminded of the stay-home Repulicans who walked away from Missouri Senator Jim Talent. They gave us Claire McCackle because, in their eyes, Jim wasn’t conservative enough.

On issues that the voters are most concerned at the moment, e.g. appeal obumbocrap, no dream-act/amnesty ??

If they promise that they are with us on these issues, we can hold them to their feet if they are elected. Once they know we mean business, they will act appropriately if they want to be elected again.

We have to strip Demoncrats from every position of power first. THEN work on the RINOs simutaneously.... but if we leave the Demoncrats as well as the RINOs in power, then we are screwed.

In warfare, traitors must be destroyed before enemies.

Concise, well reasoned, cogent article.
BUT:
If I lived in Mississippi, would I vote for Thad Cochran?
If I lived in Kansas, would I vote for Pat Roberts?
In 2016, If I am still alive, will I vote for John McCain?

errr ummmm ahhhhh NO!

What appears to happen, historically, following your "follow the pack" principle, is that conservatives become liberals when they go to Washington.

Those spineless conservatives need to be removed from office.

If you worked half as hard supporting a conservative candidate as you do trying to convince conservatives not to vote, the country would be a better place.

The thing about you purists is that most of you have given up on the idea that conservatism can win. You’ve lost faith in the country. Your only hope is in a SHTF scenario to shock the country back to its senses.

I’m not going to listen to lectures on strategy from people whose embedded premise is that the situation is hopeless.

You respond with cartoons? Do you think cartoons will stop the Leftists march? I hope you enjoy your life in the Amerika that is coming (arguably it is already here). Thankfully, I won’t be around for much of it. Thankfully, I have lived most of my life as a free man in America.
