https://www.dshs.state.tx.us/ Second Health Care Worker Tests Positive for Ebola A second health care worker at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital who provided care for the first Ebola patient diagnosed in the United States has tested positive for the disease. The health care worker reported a fever Tuesday and was immediately isolated at the hospital. Health officials have interviewed the latest patient to quickly identify any contacts or potential exposures, and those people will be monitored. The type of monitoring depends on the nature of their interactions and the potential they were exposed to the virus. The Texas Department of State Health Services also continues to monitor people who came into contact with the first two Ebola patients diagnosed in the state. The first was a man who had recently arrived in the U.S. from Liberia, where there is an ongoing Ebola outbreak. The second was another health care worker who provided care for the initial patient while he was in the hospital. Ebola is a severe and often fatal illness. Ebola is spread through direct contact with blood, secretions or other bodily fluids of a sick person or exposure to contaminated objects, such as needles. It cannot be spread simply by being near someone who is infected. People only become contagious after they begin to have symptoms. More Ebola information.

You can bet there is going to be more....and as the vectors increase, the more chances of spreading as the numbers involved increases.......

UN is warning Ebola is spreading way ahead of we can currenly cach it.....things getting real....Death ratio in Africa has climbed over 70%, which means it could be mutating, strains mixing creating new strains.

I love how they say people only become contagious after they have symptoms... So it’s binary... Ether you’re contagious or you’re not at that magic threshold point...

Never mind the virus is replicating the entire time and you only show symptoms when it has replicated enough to cause them.

You’re body fluids still likely have the virus in them before it has replicated enough to take you down. I would guess it really maters what kind of contact you have before symptoms are present that matters...

We HAVE a major problem. People wish it to not be so by chanting mantras about maybes but it’s here, it’s spreading and MANY people are going to die.

And they will die because the two parties put the safety of Americans in a position of no importance to gain political power/agenda goals.

Period.

If you like your hemorrhagic fever, you can keep your hemorrhagic fever!

On today’s school lunch menu, in celebration of successfully introducing Ebola in the USA, Moochelle Obama has decreed Bush Meat for all!

Hey Obama, with all due respect, stop the flights, you Marxist moron.

But he won't, because he can't afford to get on the slippery slope to closing the southern border, jeopardizing Democrap control of the Senate.

The reason this is so ominous is not because these health-care workers may have infected someone else in the time before they were isolated — that is not highly likely, since they were immediately isolated at first symptoms, and were undoubtingly in home quarantine anyway. This localized outbreak in Dallas is likely to be contained.

It is ominous because we have open borders, the disease defies conventional protocols, and 150 people from the affected countries are flying on airplanes into the USA every day. If just one has an active infection the potential is there to infect hundreds of others before anyone intervenes.

Without quarantine procedures for incoming passengers it’s just a matter of time before that happens.

The more cases that happen, the worse it will be for Dems at the Midterms.....this is their fault, if they cannot run the CDC properly nor give proper safety advice.

They have known about the Ebola problem for years, they knew once it piggybacked out of the African remote villages it would become a problem, that time is here and they are so unprepared for it despite having years to prepare.

FEDGOV not doing it’s job.

Protecting US citizens is out the window.

The degenerate bastards from both parties are running for the tall grass, all they care about is getting reelected and not doing or saying anything that would be considered politically incorrect and cost them their seats.

Time for the US military to step up and institute a provisional military government is at hand.

I hope whoever this next nurse is has the right blood type.

The first nurse is apparently doing better after having blood from an Ebola survivor transfused with hers. But that only works if your blood type is right...

Blood type lottery at this point...
