As Utopians and subjectivists “our own mental activity is the only unquestionable fact of our experience” the Left wishes things to be so and expects everyone to accommodate how they think things should be — the Laws of Nature [or Natural Law], be damned!
They don’t care if diseases will spread [and new ones will be created] if we are promiscuous. They don’t care if we will disappear if we build more coffins than cradles. They don’t care if redistribution only spreads poverty and serves the elites. They don’t care if appeasement only encourages aggression.
They just want what they want and those who would tell them otherwise are just being mean-spirited. It is a juvenile mentality.
Nature cannot be cajoled, manipulated or bullied, however; these Laws apply to every species equally. If we fail to follow the Rules, we will select ourselves for extinction — and others are quite happy and prepared to take our places.
