40 painful seconds of Alison Grimes refusing to say whether she voted for Obama (KY Senate)
Washington Post ^ | 10/9/2014 | Philip Bump

Alison Lundergan Grimes (D), who is trying to unseat Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R) this fall, appeared before the Louisville Courier-Journal editorial board on Thursday to make her pitch for their endorsement. The life-long Democrat, whose father represented Kentucky for the party in the state House and who herself has been on the ballot in the state on the Democratic ticket, was asked a simple question. Did she vote for President Obama in 2008 and 2012?

And she didn't answer. Repeatedly.

Sounds as though she is suffering from buyer’s remorse. LOL! She should be proud of her “white guilt” and “white privilege” and put it right up front for everybody to see.

Thanks for posting this. And good for Project Veritas for showing her up for what she is - another lying liberal who doesn’t care a whit about those she claims to represent.

How hard would have been to admit what everyone knows and say “yes, but like many Americans I've been he disappointed in the some of the President's performance.”

This just confirms the “lying game” her aide confessed to.

Good grief!
Would it have been that hard for her to simply supply her truthful answer?
She really made herself look ridiculous. Sheesh.

Why was she not asked the obvious question about her aide saying that they lie about coal to win elections? They need to hammer her hard and often about this until she cracks.

If McConnell loses then perhaps we can get a non Democrat for Senate leader. Even given that so many of the actual conservatives were smacked down by the Republican Party we still need to have a Republican Senate, preferably without McConnell. Boehner would be a loss that I think would better than a nominal Republican in that seat in the House. Those two will still not consider or allow working with any but a Democrat agenda. They just would like to put a “Republican” spin on it. Vigorous conservatives in both leadership position would make a tremendous difference. Many of the gopes who would be otherwise inclined to go along with Obama Lite for McConnell and Boehner will go along with Conservative leaders just as most of our putative Tea Party members go along with Boehner and McConnell. Those are two seats that the country needs to go Official Democrat this time around instead of Crypto Democrat as they have been for so long..

It almost makes me think she was hand picked by Mitch McConnell.

The MSM isn't going to bring that up

I’m a bit surprised that the editorial board of the “Curious” Journal was pushing her to actually answer.
