A growing Chinese military space program could put Americas orbiting assets at risk, especially now that China has demonstrated the ability to knock out satellites, says a professor of international affairs.
China's anti-satellite weaponry is a concern because the United States is much more reliant on satellite technology than any other nation, for everything from telecommunications to guided missiles, Mariel Borowitz of Georgia Tech told MidPoint host Ed Berliner on Newsmax TV Tuesday.

Put human assets in space, and make it clear that any attack in space is an attack against U.S. sovereignty and will be met with by full force.
No problem. We’ll just buy some more from the Chinese and ask the Russians to place them in orbit ............
The policy that any attack in space is an attack against U.S. sovereignty is already in place without humans being on board.
What America lacks is a President willing to enforce it.
We continue to buy a huge amount from China (30 billion / month trade deficit for years) so America is only creating a bigger problem for the future.
Bring back industry to America.
BALANCE trade with China.
While everyone is focused on Russia China just gets a pass to get stronger and stronger. Some day we will pay the price.
