Romney 2016 is for real
Washington Examiner ^ | September 24, 2014 | Byron York

Is Mitt Romney, who ran for the Republican presidential nomination and lost in 2008, ran again and won the nomination but lost the general election in 2012, really thinking about running yet again for president in 2016? Many Republicans have simply assumed not. Romney has seemed to discourage such talk in media appearances, and there has been a general belief that after losing as the party's nominee, the 67 year-old Romney would return to private life for good.

That belief is wrong. Romney is talking with advisers, consulting with his family, keeping a close eye on the emerging '16 Republican field, and carefully weighing the pluses and minuses of another run. That doesn't mean he will decide to do it, but it does mean that Mitt 2016 is a real possibility.

Lol. Can’t wait to see all you people hating on Romney now fall in to the party line in ‘16 when he’s the only chance!

Good. This will give me the chance to not vote for him in the primaries again.

I'll take your principle one step further.

This would give me the opportunity to not vote for this Pro-Abortion, Pro-Gay Rights turd BOTH in the Primaries and the General Election, AGAIN!

Mitt, you had your chance. Wait, you’ve had two chances and I’m not willing to vote a third time for you. He blew an obvious chance in 2012. If he even showed a little fight in him he would be sitting in the White House now. I’m done with him and voting for GOPe candidates for president.

1. Quit using a left-wing tactic of falsely labeling a disagreement in principle as hatred.
2. Many of us didn't fall in line in 2012.
3. There will be many more of us in 2016.
4. If he were nominated, he would lose even worse than he did last time.

Romney got the nomination last time around, AND HE LOST.

That’s one BIG thing that Sarah, Ted or any other TEA conservative could run against Willard on.

So, his absolutely Pro-Abortion and Pro-Gay policy positions don't even give you pause, even for a second, to reconsider that position?

God help us all.

What sorts of insane things will the MSM accuse him of at the Democrats’ bidding that he will just absolutely refuse to push back against?

I want Romney, Christie and Jeb! to run. It is high time that the establishment types take each other out rather than having one who is allowed to focus on dividing and conquering the conservatives.

Romney ( and to be fair, ALL Conservatives) were intimidated by the ‘minority’ candidate and none of them EVER took the gloves off.

Unless they are prepared to do so THIS time (and NOW with documented and ample justification) then they will LOSE AGAIN!!
