"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan |

I think Susan Collins will be Majority Leader. Possibly even if Mitch wins his race, certainly if he doesn’t.
The RINOs want a female Leader so badly- especially to counter what will be a more conservative House this time.

NO. Mitch is way past his sell by date. He, McKook, Linda Graham, Thud Cockroach, and all the other RINOs should be gone from the Senate.

It’s almost a Hobson’s Choice; where you are free to make your selection, but will gain in only one way, and then not by much.

One hopes not, but if McConnell prevails over Grimes (and the GOP gets a majority), I suspect he will have a fairly easy time of getting Majority Leader. Mitch is a Beltway Boy through and through, and I’d be surprised if he didn’t have things lined up with all the other Washington insiders in the Senate.
That’s just based on my cynicism about the GOP-E, of course. I could be completely wrong (and I often am, LOL).

Wonder how many democrats ABC has asked if Harry Reid should be leading the senate? All they are doing here is trying to start a food fight amongst republicans before the elections.

Should Mitch McConnell Be Next Senate Majority Leader? Obviously not.
But I nevertheless hope he beats Grimes!
Because, without a GOP majority, the question will be irrelevant. Dingy Harry will still be the Majority Leader and will continue to keep GOP legislation off Zero's desk and save the 'Rat senators from having to vote on conservative bills.
