We still have to play this feminist game of females being equal to males as warriors?
They don’t have to be ‘equal’ to play a crucial role. If they were not providing a crucial role in the Israeli army, believe me, they would not be there. Both men and women are drafted but women are conscripted for 2 years, men for 3 years. So right off the bat it is not about ‘equality’. It is about what is best for the country. Period.
In Israel they are dead serious about security and if you are not doing your job well in the military (whether a man or a woman) you are out ... and probably court martialed to boot. They don’t mess around. There is no whining and no excuses. And they don’t do it to make a feminist or social engineering point. It’s all business all the time in the Israeli military. No one is trying to make a point about ‘equality’.
