It must be late, but I’m not sure how he mixes the ten commandments, the anti-Christ and Billy Graham with a ebola outbreak in West Africa.

As to the experimental drugs, The US is going to do what is in the best interests of the US to do. Foreign Ethics panels don’t factor in which is why our two people were moved here, and I understand Spain is doing likewise with theirs..

The drugs were not ready, but their readiness had to be tested on humans and they could not do that, so as a result of this outbreak with American’s infected the FDA took steps to partially release some of the holds on the use of the untested drugs.

As the result of the emergency, the drugs should make a leap of progress toward eventual effectiveness and possible distribution if they are deemed ready.

I read in a scientific journal just yesterday that they believe that the precursor or source of the type of virus that Ebola belongs to, might be as old as ten thousand years.

That is as old as the history goes back, in my understanding. So it’s been around for a while and will be around for a lot longer.

I don’t think we need to get out undies in a wad just yet...

If the author thinks 10 commandments are a lot to worry about, he should see what the Jews have to be concerned with. Was shown a list by a friend of mine, and there must have been at least 100 bullet points. Some even telling you what not to eat. But hey, how can you argue with some of the oldest wisdom on the planet.

And this author made some serious accusations with this article. Trying to make sense of what seems to be a chaotic situation. Not bad. Although from my point of view, all four horseman have already arrived. A few years ago. What we see with Ebola, is just one of the tools they utilize as they go about their work. And Ebola is probably a lot older then just 10,000 years.

Later.

Oh, I've never seen a more appropriate opportunity to quote one of my favorite Kipling poems:

The Gods of the Copybook Headings

by Rudyard Kipling

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

AS I PASS through my incarnations in every age and race,
I make my proper prostrations to the Gods of the Market Place.
Peering through reverent fingers I watch them flourish and fall,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings, I notice, outlast them all.

We were living in trees when they met us. They showed us each in turn
That Water would certainly wet us, as Fire would certainly burn:
But we found them lacking in Uplift, Vision and Breadth of Mind,
So we left them to teach the Gorillas while we followed the March of Mankind.

We moved as the Spirit listed. They never altered their pace,
Being neither cloud nor wind-borne like the Gods of the Market Place,
But they always caught up with our progress, and presently word would come
That a tribe had been wiped off its icefield, or the lights had gone out in Rome.

With the Hopes that our World is built on they were utterly out of touch,
They denied that the Moon was Stilton; they denied she was even Dutch;
They denied that Wishes were Horses; they denied that a Pig had Wings;
So we worshipped the Gods of the Market Who promised these beautiful things.

When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "Stick to the Devil you know."

On the first Feminian Sandstones we were promised the Fuller Life
(Which started by loving our neighbour and ended by loving his wife)
Till our women had no more children and the men lost reason and faith,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "The Wages of Sin is Death."

In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for all,
By robbing selected Peter to pay for collective Paul;
But, though we had plenty of money, there was nothing our money could buy,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "If you don't work you die."

Then the Gods of the Market tumbled, and their smooth-tongued wizards withdrew
And the hearts of the meanest were humbled and began to believe it was true
That All is not Gold that Glitters, and Two and Two make Four
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings limped up to explain it once more.

As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man
There are only four things certain since Social Progress began.
That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire,
And the burnt Fool's bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the Fire;

And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return!

If Obama doesn’t close the border, if something can come along, something will come along. Something like Ebola...

If the rumors about his sexuality and about his religion are true, then obama is the vector, our personification of "something will come along" coming to life here, inside US.

Decade after decade, in almost every way possible, our nation has cursed and removed the protections that would have kept US safe until we finally became infected with this progressive autoimmune disease now overwhelming the things that once kept US healthy.

After just a term and a half, we're close to terminal and the world isn't in much better shape than we are.

On so many levels it's like we're one too many NFL concussions stupid and still counting:

"Here, Sodom, hold my beer and watch this!" as we use both hands to flip the bird to Heaven itself.

***The First Horseman***

WAR
FAMINE
PESTILENCE
DEATH.

Not necessarily in that order.
