Was he wearing a protective suit when he caught this?

I’m sure he was wearing protective gear of some sort. Just looking at the pictures, they have masks, eye protection, gowns, boots & they get washed off with chemicals to kill the virus. I think the female missionary who was infected was washing off the medical staff.
